I'm not sure how often I'll write/post, but I guess it'll be like most things - a lot a the beginning then as the novelty wears off, less and less. Or this might be one of those rare things that a 15 year old girl will actually stick to, just like violin that lasted for an entire term, or ice skating for 14 weeks... Don't hold your breath you non-existent readers. I feel like that was a good time for a winking face ';)' but I don't want to be one of those annoying people that think that it is acceptable to use emoticons all the time and for everything they write because it is most definitely not.
So the topic of this particular post is blogging. I've made a couple of blogs before but they didn't serve any purpose, nobody read them (for good reason) and I never posted (probably the cause of the last point). When I was going through the very difficult two stages of naming the title and URL of this blog I tried out a few different names. I didn't want to be cliche but I do think that the title is appropriate - I am a teenage girl and these posts are my thoughts. I guess I could change it to rants of a teenage girl but I'm not always ranting, I mean most of the time I am but there are certain set moments of philosophical erm, musings if you will. Anyway what I was trying to say is that I wanted I to use the title for the URL and found that it had already been taken and how weird: the girl seemed just like me. I mean she had only written a few posts and her blog stopped 5 years ago but at the time she was roughly my age and the stuff she talked about have been floating around in my head too. Now that I've said that I'm not too sure of the purpose of saying that but it's strange to think that there are lots of people out there, maybe living close by, that are my age and think just like me. Makes me think that maybe people aren't one of a kind and there are almost molds of people just like on TV in American high schools.
